Planet Surfacing recently completed installing a new driveway in Altrincham, Cheshire. Our client chose an unusual colour and pattern combination, but the results were stunning. They opted for Ashlar pattern coloured in platinum with charcoal release. The release colour adds depth and creates a two-tone effect.

This colour and pattern combination are quite a popular choice but what made this new driveway in Altrincham different was what our client then added. She opted to have a red tint added to a compass depicted on her concrete driveway as a focal point near to the front door, along with red edging. This trimmed the lovely curved edge of the concrete driveway and the straight-line edging around the house. The final part of the process involved finishing the driveway with a gloss seal with anti-skid. While the gloss may make the driveway look slippery the anti-skid component means the surface has good grip and is safe.
