We used a concrete drop kerb along the front of the new gravel driveway in Cheadle Hulme, Stockport and charcoal blocks that were placed behind them. These were both laid on an SBR concrete mix for strength. SBR is Styrene Butadiene Rubber which is a liquid latex polymer that can be mixed with concrete, cement or mortar, in this case cement. It improves durability and adhesion as well as water resistance.
