Planet Surfacing recently completed installing a new patio in Manchester. In this instance our clients decided to have the whole of their garden turned into a paved area using pattern imprinted concrete. This is a great way to create a low maintenance living area for you and your family. We were able to build a unique space for them to enjoy being outside, relaxing, and breathing in the fresh air!

Our clients opted to have their patio coloured in Steadman Buff. We added a mahogany release which creates a lovely textured effect and gives depth to overall look of the pattern imprinted concrete patio in Manchester. As you can see from the photographs the combination of Steadman buff and mahogany release created an appearance of a beautiful antique colour.

For the new patio in Manchester, we used sleepers to build a raised patio area. This part of the patio also had to accommodate a couple of existing trees, so we built two circular planters around them. That’s one of the great advantages of having a pattern imprinted concrete patio in Manchester, it can be laid into any shape and include intricate designs.

There was also a lower patio area with step built from the back-patio doors. To clearly define the steps and borders we included a terracotta edging. One of the final parts of the process was to cover the whole area with a mid-sheen and anti-skid sealant. Stones were also added between the edge of the patio and the fence.
