Planet Surfacing recently installed a brand-new pattern imprinted concrete new driveway in Heaton Moor, Stockport. It covered the entire area at the front of the house creating a great place to park the car as well as providing easy access to the front door.

For their pattern imprinted concrete new driveway in Heaton Moor, Stockport our clients opted to have Royal Ashlar for the pattern, coloured in dove grey. Grey is a popular choice for a new driveway so to make it more bespoke to them our clients requested that the odd tile was tinted in blue. You can see what the pattern and colour choice looked like from the photographs included.
The great thing about pattern imprinted concrete is that you can choose a pattern and colour combination that no one else has for your new driveway. There are so many colours and patterns, and if you want, like our clients did, you can create more features by adding other colours.

For this project, we added a step at the front door and an ACO drain along the front wall of the house. To define the perimeter of the new driveway we acid stained the edges. We then sealed the whole of the driveway in a mid-sheen acrylic seal with anti-slip agent. This gives a lovely shine to the surface and gives definition to the colour and pattern. The driveway perfectly complemented the grey fence too!
