New Patio and Driveway in Denton

The Versatility of Pattern Imprinted Concrete – Beautiful New Patio and Driveway in Denton

If you were ever in doubt about the versatility of pattern imprinted concrete, then think again as you read about our recent project installing a new driveway in Denton, as well as at the same house, laying two new patios all using pattern imprinted concrete.

For our clients this was a refurb project. They had a nice space at the back of the house but were keen to ensure that they maximised its usage and so wanted to create different areas to accommodate different needs. A new patio in Denton was the answer. They also wanted something that was low maintenance.

The garden was on different levels, so leading out from the patio doors we installed a raised pattern imprinted concrete patio and used a decking print for this. It’s a great option because as you can see from some of the photographs included it creates the appearance of wooden decking and even has the grain effect! However, unlike wooden decking which can easily become slippery when wet and can end up being covered in moss, the concrete is unaffected. For the decking effect our clients chose the colour Bideford Buff.

Below the raised patio was another patio area only this time our clients opted for platinum colour and for added interest a compass pattern was included. To divide the two sections as well as bring the two-colour schemes and patterns together the walls were covered in Wallcrete render.

Wallcrete can turn a plain block wall into something that is far more aesthetically pleasing and natural looking as the render can create the look of stone, slate, cobble, tile or wood. There are so many options with Wallcrete that you are bound to find something that suits you. It’s a perfect option to compliment your new patio in Denton. Again, if you look at the photographs included you can see what this looks like and the stunning effect.

Our clients also had quite a large area at the front of the house which needed updating. The space was not being utilised fully as a place to park the cars or as an attractive focus leading up to the house, so they chose to have a new driveway in Denton. This had a charcoal edge which created definition between the fence and the concrete. For added interest there was also a charcoal tinted cobble circle that created a focal point.

Our clients loved the results. It’s given them practical space that meets their lifestyle requirements both at the front and back of the house.

If you are thinking of having a new driveway in Denton or a new patio in Denton don’t hesitate to get in touch with Planet Surfacing. If you want advice on how to utilise the space at the front of back of your house, we can talk you through the options of how to maximise what you have.
