New pattern imprinted concrete driveway – Timperley, Altrincham

The driveway was in Timperley, Altrincham. The client chose to have the driveway printed in large London cobble and coloured in classic grey, a very tasteful and traditional combination that complements most house styles. The driveway was then sealed in a matt finish sealer with non-slip system as standard. A discreet gutter was laid across the front of the garage and start of the path to allow for the drainage of surface water.

You can see from the pictures the complete transformation that the front and side of the house underwent. The pictures also illustrate the process that is followed. First of all we excavate and dig out the existing concrete and dig down to the required area and to the correct depths. A slip membrane is installed for the concrete to sit on. The concrete is then placed and levelled. The dye is then applied to achieve the desired colour and impression mats are laid across the surface while applying the correct pressure to imprint the pattern onto the concrete. Once the concrete has set the surface is washed off and left to dry. The final part of the process is the application of a gloss or matt sealer.
