Solve the Problem of Parking with a New Driveway in Didsbury!

Planet Surfacing recently laid a stunning new driveway in Didsbury. As you can see from the photographs included this was across the front of the house and provided ample parking space.
From the colours and patterns available in pattern imprinted concrete, our clients opted for the driveway to be printed in grand ashlar and coloured in classic grey. We added a half moon step which we covered in the same pattern and colour.

To highlight the edges of the driveway and the step, we acid stained them. As you can see from the photographs this provided a lovely contrast between the classic grey colour and the acid-stained edges. This gave clear definition along where the driveway met the brick wall and the front of the house. Because a pattern imprinted concrete is not porous, we incorporated an ACOS drain along the front of the driveway to make it SUDS compliant. Having this provides a place for surface water to flow to. The final part of the process was to cover the driveway with an anti-skid gloss seal. This gives it a lovely shine without making it slippery.
