From Old and Tired Looking to a New Driveway in Sale!

Planet Surfacing was recently asked to install a beautiful new pattern imprinted concrete driveway in Sale. The existing driveway was looking worn, old and tired and was in need of replacing, so we started the project by digging up and disposing of the old driveway and excavating the space to ensure a smooth, flat surface for the new driveway in Sale. A layer of hardcore was spread across the area and then compacted in. This formed a level, solid base. We were then able to pour over the concrete and apply the pattern.

Our clients opted to have Proline Old World Cobble. The stones can be laid in a running bond or offset pattern. In this instance we laid it in a running bond. The concrete was coloured in classic grey.

The new driveway in Sale perfectly matched the grey decorative features on the house and the anthracite grey front door. The great advantage of having a new pattern imprinted concrete driveway in Sale is that, because of the range of patterns and colours you can choose from, you are guaranteed to find a pattern that suits the age of your property, as well as a colour that complements the external appearance of it.

The client wanted to keep the kerb step they already had at the front door and in fill with concrete which we did. We added acid staining around the border and ACOS drainage to make sure it is SUDS compliant. The project was completed by covering the concrete with a mid-sheen seal with anti-slip agent.
