Beautiful New Patio in Altrincham

It’s now officially Spring. The first day of this new season was welcomed on the 20th March with sunshine and milder weather being enjoyed by most of the UK. As the weather starts to improve and the evenings stay increasingly lighter for longer, we start to think about getting out in the garden, dusting off the barbecue and tidying up the lawn and borders. It’s also a popular time to update your patio area creating an inviting and enjoyable space in which to relax, eat a meal or socialise with friends over a glass of wine or a beer.

Our clients in the Timperley area of Altrincham decided to have a new patio in Altrincham and to have this in place so they could make the most of the better weather on the way. They opted for a pattern imprinted concrete patio printed in 6-inch wood plank and coloured in Bideford Buff with a tan release. You can see what this looked like from the photographs included.

The wood plank effect pattern creates the impression that the patio is made from wooden decking whereas it is actually concrete! This is much easier to maintain and is safer than wooden decking. For a new patio in Altrincham, pattern imprinted concrete requires very little maintenance and keeps it colour a for much longer and will last a lot longer than wooden decking.

Creating a seamless link between the patio and the garden with a beautiful curved edging, the pattern imprinted concrete patio now provides a great outdoor area to put chairs and a table and a lovely flow between the inside of the house, through the patio doors and out into the garden.
