Another Stunning Pattern Imprinted Concrete Driveway

With more and more electric cars on the road, there is now an urgent need for charging points. If you are an electric car owner, you can have a home charging point installed where you can park your car, but before this you need a space to park it!

Planet Surfacing recently laid a brand-new driveway in Hale. While it transformed the appearance of the area outside the house it also provided a practical space to park the car and give ease of access to the electric charging point.

With a charging point already installed to the side of the porch our clients decided to have the new driveway across the whole front of the house. They chose to have a pattern imprinted concrete driveway coloured in classic grey and printed in standard London cobble. This combination of colour and pattern creates a stunning, sophisticated appearance that flatters any style or age of house.

We edged the new driveway in Hale with KL kerbs. These nicely defined the perimeters of the driveway. We also added some gravel between the kerbs and the concrete, which again added definition.

In addition, we included a half moon step at the front door and incorporated an ACOS drain across the front of the pattern imprinted concrete driveway. This made the driveway SUDS compliant as the drain provides somewhere for surface water to flow into.

Once the driveway had been laid it was covered with a mid-sheen sealant with anti-slip. You can see the beautiful appearance of this pattern imprinted concrete driveway from the photographs included.

Our clients were thrilled with their new driveway in Hale. They can now park their car safely on the drive and leave it to charge overnight.
